Traveler's Notebook :: Pretty

I was lucky enough to collaborate with Kellie Stamps again, this time on the MAKERS GONNA MAKE set which I've used on this page in my TN.

I really wanted to do my stamping on a shipping tag but the only ones I have left are neon yellow so I had to make one myself. So easy!

How to print photos for Project Life

The question I get asked the most often is how I print my photos.

So here is a quick overview on the pretty simple process I use for printing photos for my Project Life, my Traveler's Notebooks and all my other projects!

Project Life :: Week 16

The ultimate in simplicity, all I used is some pattern paper and the new clear stamp releases: ANZAC ALPHA, FUNDAY WEEK and the MAKERS GONNA MAKE set (which I collaborated on) from Kellie Stamps! You can grab the freebie card I used from Kellie's blog, where she has a freebie every Friday!

Traveler's Notebook :: Shine On

I loved the pretty and girly colours in the April Planner kit from Studio Calico, they are really my favourite types of colours. And perfect for this page about Lily.

I really did faff about with the stars an awful lot, but because of the weird lighting – I hadn't even noticed that some of them were gold, they looked brown!

Project Life :: Week 15

Maybe because we're heading into winter here, but I seem to continually be choosing all the warm and bright colours this month!

I love the way the yellow, blue and pink tie this week's rather hodge-podge photos together. And those little humorous embellishments are so fun. And with that, I am pretty much up-to-date again with Project Life, I think my keeping it simple method is the way to go if you want to stay on track and get a whole year done – in a year!

Traveler's Notebook :: Sweat, Smile, Repeat

Definitely not the most attractive selfie I've ever taken but one that deserved to be documented using the latest release from Kellie Stamps.

I thought I was going to stick to a really monochrome page but by the time I was finished, I couldn't resist adding a little pop of colour.

If you want to grab yourself a Pocket Page Notebook from The Stamp Spot, use the coupon code LESS for up to $9 off shipping, including international! (One time use, valid till May 22 2017)

Traveler's Notebook :: Be Happy

The lovely Essie Ruth and I decided to challenge ourselves (and you!) to create a page in our Traveler's Notebooks inspired by this gorgeous moodboard that Essie put together.

Apart from the gorgeous colours, I was inspired by all the geometric patterns in there. So that was where I started with my design. After picking out my favourite papers in grey and pink, I started chopping and glueing!

If you have a go at this challenge yourself, please let me know. I'd love to see what you make!

Project Life :: Week 14

I really struggled with the colours this week, but I was drawn to the 4x6 card with yellow, grey and coral so that was the theme I went with!

All the papers, cards and embellishments were kept to those colours and I love how it brings out all the yellows in my photos.

Pocket Page Scraplift Challenge :: Kitty Life

I'm over on the Citrus Twist Kits Facebook Fan Page today sharing the results of a scraplift challenge for Nations Scrapbooking Day (or week as the case may be!). I hope you go and check out all the fun challenges happening over there!

Traveler's Notebook :: Time to Eat

I added another page to my foodie themed TN using the latest release from Kellie Stamps, which was more than appropriate!

I really can't get enough of repeat stamping and even though this page wasn't perfect, my photo covered up most of the mistakes! Everything else was kept pretty simple, just a touch of gold washi and the most fabulous Brilliance Rocket Red Gold ink.

Project Life :: Week 13

I'm not really an orange kind of girl. But there were some many warm-toned photos this week, it would have been insane not to completely embrace the theme, using the Citrus Twist Kits May Pocket Life kit. And I think when you REALLY go with a colour-scheme like this, it will always turn out lovely.

I LOVE all the coral-colours and the stitching and the beautiful sentiments. It was a hard week that had little glowing pieces of happiness and this spread seems to have fully focused on the good.

Traveler's Notebook :: Nom Nom

I made a pretty huge mistake when I was creating this page and chose the wrong colour ink to stamps with. But I wasn't about to let this page go to waste, not after I spent so long stamping with the latest release from Kellie Stamps!

I'm pretty sure most mistakes can be covered up with another piece of paper and this one worked out perfectly. I think I like it even more than what I had originally intended it to look like!

Traveler's Notebook :: Bug Splat

I love being able to use up as many of the bits and pieces from my kits as possible and this is a really good way to use all those 2x6 off cuts to create a stripy background for a page in my Traveler's Notebook.

Also love that I finally managed to get this funny and slightly gross story documented somewhere before I forget about it!

Traveler's Notebook Layout :: Brunch

This may well be the most simple Traveler's Notebook page I've ever done but as soon as I saw that BRUNCH stamp from the GOOD FOOD stamp set over at Kellie Stamps, I knew I had to use it for this photo. Because our favourite brunch spot is always the Farmers Market and our favourite food from the Farmers Market is always bacon, and bacon doesn't really need any fancy embellishments!

Project Life :: Week 12

This whole page is like my dream: blue, pink and teal! And after all the negativity of the last few weeks, I really enjoyed turning this page into one big, positive note-to-self!

I saved the left-over "week" from last week's cutfile so I could use it this week and I had to get a little creative when I ran out of e's, cutting the loops off a b resulted in a short little e but it is an e nonetheless.

And I used one of my filler cards from this video, all I had to do was add a little stamp, too easy.

Kellie Stamps :: 100 Day Project Tracker

Head on over to the Kellie Stamps shop today and check out all the new releases! I used the LIKE A GIRL stamp set to create a tracker for my 100 Day Project. Since it isn't really an instagrammable project, I needed something to keep me accountable and so far it is working great!

DIY Filler cards for Project Life

It's SO easy to make your own filler cards with whatever left-over papers and embellishments you have lying around! Here I used some papers and the embellishment pack from the April Citrus Twist Kits Pocket Life kit to create some of my own...

Here's how I did it...
